Why STEM?

Take on the challenge to learn about the disciplines that investigate and seek to understand the natural and technological world. Many students question pursuing a degree in a STEM field without the knowledge that programs are specifically created to ensure every student can be successful. Here at Mesa, there is a community of support available to every student and being involved in STEM allows students to focus on different disciplines.

Most engineers are employed with a bachelor’s degree, although some may choose to continue to graduate school. Engineers can choose a variety of disciplines to study such as Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Environmental, Industrial, Electrical and Nuclear.

Math

Mathematicians analyze data, sequences, and solve real-world problems using data. Many mathematicians earn their Ph.D.’s before entering the workforce. Careers include, but are not limited to becoming a data analyst, teacher or professor, statistician or even focus on applied economics/finances.
