Students who are enrolled in a for credit class at Mesa may receive services at Student Health.
Students in a non-credit class are not eligible.
Continuing Education students are not eligible even if they attend on the Mesa Campus.
SDCCD students who are enrolled in a for-credit class at Mesa, City or Miramar can
go to any Student Health office.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, visit the Health Center in I4-209 Mon-Thurs from 8:00am-5:00pm, or Friday 8:00am-12:00pm to get support from a counselor. You don't need to make an appointment. Come by the
Center and we will help you manage the symptoms of your emotional stress.
If you are not on campus or need help outside the Health Center's hours, you can call

It can be difficult to know how to respond when you're concerned someone may
be experiencing a state of crisis. Instead of focusing on finding the right thing
to say, try to approach the individual in an open and non-judgmental way, actively
listening to what they have to say, and affirming their strength. If they are willing
to come to the Health Center, it may be helpful to walk with them. Keep in mind, the
individual has the right to refuse help (unless in a state of emergency) in which
case, you can leave the door open for possible reconsideration. Remember to take care
of yourself and practice self care as these interventions are often emotionally taxing.
