Transfer Guarantees

Transfer Admission Guarantee Programs

There are a variety of ways to apply and transfer to a 4-year institution. There is no one size that fits all, so connect the transfer team and learn which program and pathway is the best route.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) programs and Associate Degree in Transfer (ADTs) are designed to make transfering from a community college to a 4-year university easier. Requirements for each of these programs/agreements vary.

Associate Degree For Transfer (ADT)

The Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) is a degree offered at California Community Colleges. To pursue this special transfer degree, rather than a traditional AA or AS degree, connect with a counselor to develop an education plan that puts you on the path toward the ADT degree.

Students must submit an application for their desired TAG program at least one year in advance of transferring. If you are applying for Fall admission/transfer, you must submit your TAG application between September 1-30.
