How to Become a Mesa Tutor
Tutoring at Mesa College is a great way to gain valuable work experience and give back to the community.
To become a tutor at Mesa, you must enroll in and pass Education 100; a six-week, hybrid course with two synchronous meetings (currently online). Sign up for Education 100 on MySDCCD.
General Tutors
General tutors can work on the floor inside of the Learning Resource Center or via hotspot on campus or online.
Embedded Tutors
Embedded tutors work in a classroom either on campus or online.
How to Become a MT2C Staff Member
If you would like to work for our tutoring program in addition to tutoring or instead of tutoring, you can apply to become a MT2C staff member! Staff members work inside the Learning Resource Center on campus or online. Staff members help at the front desk, perform data entry, welcome students, and more.
